WORK EXPERIENCE

1999-2005 Freelance CG Artist New Orleans, LA

CG Artist

Earned contracts for a variety of digital work including 3D logos for Coca Cola through Ogilvy & Mather NY, Sports Car Interiors for NDA contracted "Next Gen" Gaming Company, 3D animation for New Orleans Mayor, Mark Morial's D-Day museum opening day multimedia speech, created 3D animation for an installation at the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans and an exhibit in Vienna, Austria, and Promotional music video for New Orleans’ Hot 8 Brass Band. Edited and created motion graphics for local political campaign advertisements and infomercials.

2003-2004 Digimation Inc. St. Rose, LA

Application Engineer

Created custom 3D models from scratch and from pre-existing assets in model archive, including solids, nurbs, polygons and sub-division surfaces. Worked to create new translation processes and procedures. Translated models to and from almost every commercial 3D package. Reassembled translated textured models in various 3D packages. Maintained fluid operations of new asset publishing, including personal communication with developers, model integrity and value assessment, and managed the “Model Preview” render farm. Created custom tools with Maxscript. Served as model techsupport and beta tested internal and external software development. Posted sellable assets to the Digimation website. I started at Digimation as the Publishing Coordinator and after 9 months was promoted to Application Engineer.

1999 - 2002 Loyola Computer Based Imaging New Orleans, LA

Lab Technician

Installed and networked Mac Lab including Final Cut Pro dedicated machines and 1 Media 100 station complete with DV, Beta, and S-video transfer. Maintained fluid operation of all systems, hardware, and applications.

2000 - 2001 Tony Bravo Visual Effects Team New Orleans, LA

Lead Digital Artist

Headed a team of artists in 3D modeling, animation, and compositing to create 3 scenes which combined green screen action footage shot on 35mm film and 3D animation for a feature film. I worked with veteran digital artists in Chicago, Los Angeles and New Orleans to create scenes with a consistent look and feel of those completed by participating FX houses.

Video Production/Post-Production

Edited video for web content, encoded video for web streaming, created motion graphics and 3D animation for content and served as technical support for video production department.
